According to the International Hyperhidrosis Society, new research shows that nearly 5% of the world’s population suffers from excessive sweating or hyperhidrosis. The high incidence of axillary, or underarm excessive sweating, was supported by a quantitative study of over 2,000 U.S. consumers in which the total addressable category size was projected to be 37 million people in the United States.
